Nestled in the heart of the Sierra Foothills, Three Pines Bistro is our family’s tribute to the beauty and community of Colfax, CA. As a small family of three, we wanted to create a space that felt like home—not just for us, but for everyone who walks through our doors. We dreamed of building a place where customer service is second nature, where the staff knows your name and your usual order—a true neighborhood spot to call your own.
As a family, we pour our heart into everything we do—especially the food. Every dish on the menu is thoughtfully crafted with a passion for flavor and a love of bringing people together. We envisioned a place full of life—music on the patio, laughter from the lawn, and a warm welcome for families, friends, and even dogs.

Chef Marco Rossi, grandson of our founders, trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of Tuscany before returning to lead our kitchen. His passion for authentic Italian cuisine and innovative techniques has earned Bella Vista numerous accolades.
